Checks and plaid prints made an eager comeback this Fashion Week for SS22. We saw colorful checks across mini-dresses, textured skirts and tailored co-ords, also making a feature alongside what we have deemed as our hottest style for the upcoming season: fashion with function.

The new take on formal wear seemed to hit the runway at full force: from oversized shirts, to structured dresses and jumpsuits, and everything in-between. A key trend for the Spring/Summer season, functional fashion has unequivocally paved the way for chic, tailored styles to make their ultimate comback - landing their rightfully earned front-row spot back at New York Fashion Week.
